Zapmail pricing · what $39, $99 and $299 a month buy you

Zapmail costs $39, $99 or $299 a month. Its lowest price is $2.50 a mailbox, on Pro billed yearly. Pre-warmed plans are sold separately.

The short answer

If you need 100 Google mailboxes and can pay for a year up front, use Zapmail Pro. It works out to $2.50 a mailbox. If you want a team to set up and watch your mailboxes for you, use Scaledmail instead.

Zapmail sells mailboxes for cold email. A mailbox is one inbox you send from, like sam@yourbrand-mail.com. Each mailbox sits on a domain, which is a spare web address you own so your main company domain stays safe.

Zapmail sets up the DNS records for you. DNS records are settings on your domain, named SPF, DKIM and DMARC. They tell Gmail and Outlook that your mail really comes from you.

What each regular plan costs

Zapmail's regular plans are the same price for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes.

  • Starter is $39 a month for 10 mailboxes.
  • Growth is $99 a month for 30 mailboxes.
  • Pro is $299 a month for 100 mailboxes.

Billed yearly, the same plans are $32.50, $82.50 and $250 a month. The math per mailbox: Starter is $32.50 ÷ 10 = $3.25. Growth is $82.50 ÷ 30 = $2.75. Pro is $250 ÷ 100 = $2.50.

That $2.50 is the lowest Zapmail price per mailbox. You get it only on Pro billed yearly, with 100 Google mailboxes for $250 a month.

Extra mailboxes are $3.50 each on Starter, $3.25 on Growth and $3.00 on Pro. On Pro billed yearly, an extra mailbox is $2.50.

The math, price per mailbox paid monthly: Starter is $39 ÷ 10 = $3.90. Growth is $99 ÷ 30 = $3.30. Pro is $299 ÷ 100 = about $2.99.

Pre-warmed plans are a separate product

Warmup means sending small safe mail from a new mailbox so it looks normal before cold volume. A pre-warmed mailbox has already been warmed up, so you can start sending sooner.

Zapmail sells pre-warmed mailboxes on their own plans, with their own prices.

  • Starter is $39 for the first month, then $24 a month, for 3 mailboxes on 1 domain.
  • Growth is $149 for the first month, then $84 a month, for 12 mailboxes on 4 domains.
  • Pro is $339 for the first month, then $180 a month, for 30 mailboxes on 10 domains.

Extra domains are $15 a year.

The math, pre-warmed Growth after the first month: $84 ÷ 12 = $7 per mailbox a month.

Add-ons that change the bill

API Access comes with Pro only. An API is a way for your own code to talk to a tool.

Each plan also includes deliverability test credits. A deliverability test sends a sample email to check whether it lands in the inbox or in spam. Starter gets 3 credits a month, Growth gets 10 and Pro gets 30.

The math for 40 mailboxes: Growth is $99 for 30, plus 10 extras × $3.25 = $32.50, for $131.50 a month. Pro is $299 for 100. The math at 91 mailboxes: $99 + 61 × $3.25 = $297.25, still under Pro. From 92 mailboxes, Pro costs less.

What to do this week

Count the mailboxes you need, and decide whether you can pay for a year up front.

  • If you set up your own Google mailboxes, use Zapmail on a regular plan.
  • If you want mailboxes that are ready to send sooner, use a Zapmail pre-warmed plan.
  • If you want a team to set up and watch your mailboxes, use Scaledmail.
  • If you run 250 or more inboxes, price Premium Inboxes on its Growth tier.
