The verdict
Firecrawl is the pick when you need search results and page text on one bill. Standard is $83 a month, billed yearly, for 100,000 credits. One credit reads one plain page.
JSON costs 5 credits a page, so Standard covers 20,000 JSON pages. If you only need Google results, SearchApi is cheaper.
Best for
Teams that need search results and the text of each page in one bill.
Not for
Skip it if you only need Google titles and links. SearchApi costs less for that job.

When we use it
- Read company homepages and about pages to fill in headcount or location.
- Ask for JSON when you need set fields, like headcount, pulled out of a page.
- Run a search and then read the pages in the same credit balance.
- Start on Free with 1,000 credits a month before you pick a paid plan.
How to wire it
- Test on Free. Confirm whether you need plain text or JSON before you size a plan.
- Pick Standard if you read up to about 20,000 JSON pages, or 100,000 plain pages, a month.
- Clean dead links before a run. Error pages still cost 1 credit each.
- Buy top-up credits for a busy month. Plan credits on Hobby, Standard and Growth do not roll over.

- The math on Standard as plain pages: $83 ÷ 100 = $0.83 per 1,000 pages.
- JSON, Question and Highlight each cost 5 credits a page.
- Rollover of unused plan credits starts only on Scale, for one month.
- Each $5 of top-ups adds 2,000 credits on Standard, which is about 3 times the plan rate.
