GMass pricing · unlimited emails, until Google's daily limit

GMass Standard is $29.95 a month, Premium $39.95, Professional $59.95. Follow-ups start on Premium, inbox rotation only on Professional, and GMass's own counter shows about 1 in 23 Workspace campaigns hitting Google's limit early.

Two GMass users left reviews on Software Advice in May 2026.

Matt M. sends 10 to 20 outreach emails a day. He says Gmail has never flagged him or shut him down. Maryna A. sent about 50 emails a day, and her account got disabled.

Same tool, two outcomes. Two reviews prove nothing alone. They do line up with what GMass says about itself.

GMass sells "unlimited" emails. On GMass's own blog, founder Ajay Goel takes on whether you can really send unlimited email through Gmail.

As it turns out, that usually isn't the case.

Google sets the ceiling

GMass runs inside your Gmail or Google Workspace account, so Google's limits apply. GMass's own post lists them at 500 emails a day for a regular Gmail account and 2,000 a day for Workspace.

GMass also posts a live counter of campaigns that hit those limits. Here's Sunday, October 4, 2026.

  • 16,336 campaigns went out from Workspace accounts. 725 hit Google's limits early. That's 4.4%, or about 1 in 23.
  • 2,542 campaigns went out from regular Gmail accounts. 107 hit limits early, or 4.2%.
  • None of them got rerouted over SMTP, the outside sending server GMass can switch to when Google stops you.

So "unlimited" means GMass adds no cap of its own. Google's cap stays in place.

Three plans, three different buyers

GMass raised prices in January 2026. Here's the ladder today.

  • Standard is $29.95 a month, or $249 a year. It has no sequences, no A/B tests, no API, and no inbox rotation.
  • Premium is $39.95 a month, or $349 a year. It adds sequences, which are automatic follow-up emails, plus A/B tests and the API.
  • Professional is $59.95 a month, or $599 a year. It adds inbox rotation, which GMass calls MultiSend. Rotation spreads one campaign across several sending inboxes.

Read the ladder by what you need.

Follow-ups start on Premium. Most cold email lives in the follow-ups, so Standard works as a mail merge, one personalized email to a list.

More than one inbox means Professional. It's the only plan that rotates.

The January hike added $4.95 to each monthly plan. That's about 20% on Standard, 14% on Premium, and 9% on Professional. The annual prices went up $24, $24, and $74.

Teams get a separate price list with Professional features. Five users cost $175 a month, or $35 each. At 100 users it's $2,200 a month, or $22 each.

Past the cap, you pay per email

When Google's limit stops you, GMass can send through SMTP instead. That can be your own SMTP account or GMass's in-house server.

GMass says the first 10,000 emails through SMTP are free. After that it's $5 per 10,000.

GMass doesn't say whether the free 10,000 resets each month. So the public page won't give you a monthly SMTP bill. Ask GMass before you plan around it.

The cheap per-email math only works at the ceiling

On paper, Professional looks cheap. One Workspace account at 2,000 a day is about 60,000 emails over a 30-day month. $59.95 spread over 60,000 is about a tenth of a cent per email.

That math assumes one account sends 2,000 cold emails a day. Maryna's account got disabled at about 50. Premium Inboxes, which sells cold email mailboxes, says more than 15 cold emails per inbox per day triggers throttling. Take that as their rule of thumb.

At 15 a day, one account sends about 450 emails in a 30-day month. Professional then costs about 13 cents per email. That's our math, and it's the number to compare.

Smartlead, a sequencer (the tool that sends email steps over several days), prices by sends across many inboxes. Base is $39 a month for 6,000 sends, about 0.65 cents each. Pro is $94 for 90,000 sends, about a tenth of a cent each. You hit those numbers by spreading sends over many mailboxes, each one sending a little.

Here's a small fleet on the same 15-a-day rule. Ten Inboxkit mailboxes on annual billing cost 10 × $2.50 = $25 a month. Add Smartlead Base at $39 and you're at $64 a month, before domains. Ten boxes at 15 a day send about 4,500 emails in a 30-day month, which fits under Base's 6,000 sends. That's about 1.4 cents per email.

So at that 15-a-day rule, one GMass inbox on Professional costs about 13 cents per email. The small fleet costs about 1.4 cents.

When to stay and when to leave

Stay on GMass if you send from one mailbox at modest volume, the way Matt does. Premium covers follow-ups at $39.95.

Move once you need more than about three sending addresses. RevenueFlow uses that cutoff in its GMass and Smartlead comparison. Past it, you pay Professional prices to rotate inboxes inside Gmail, and each inbox still has Google's cap.

One stale result still shows up in search: a 2016 GMass post about free accounts and 50 emails a day. That free plan is gone.

Pick list

  • One inbox, light volume. Stay on GMass Premium for follow-ups. Standard only fits if you never follow up.
  • More than about three inboxes. Move sending to Smartlead.
  • Mailboxes for Smartlead. Zapmail gets boxes live fast. Inboxkit charges one flat price for Google or Microsoft. Premium Inboxes sets it up for you.
  • Before you buy Workspace boxes. Read Google Workspace for cold email and sort your list by mail provider first.
